You are invited to enjoy an interactive and fun music experience through group music therapy sessions with your peers who share your same physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs.

Music brings the group members a sense of community and decreases feelings of isolation/separation.
The group has the same goals and needs that you expect to meet from the music therapy sessions. Your peers and the music therapist will ‘be there for you’ when you need encouragement and support. Our goal is to help you have a successful experience!
The fun experienced in a well-structured session plan and music interventions will motivate and inspire you to meet your needs. You will notice your enjoyment of every moment shared with the group. Our clients always say, “Time flies” when they join the music therapy group sessions.
Music allows participants to express their feelings and emotions by using their verbal/non-verbal language
in a non-threatening musical environment. Individual participants will quickly connect with music and the others in the group.

Sunshine Music Therapy offers group music therapy sessions to elder facilities that include long-term and short-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, memory care facilities, palliative care facilities, and independent and assisted living facilities.
